PhD in Management, Monsoon-25
Batch: Monsoon-2025

This course is designed to develop doctoral scholars who are not only compliant with ethical norms but are capable of ethical judgment, moral courage, and epistemic responsibility throughout their academic careers.
Rather than treating ethics as a checklist or regulatory hurdle, the course positions ethics as integral to knowledge creation, scholarly identity, and academic legitimacy. It addresses ethical challenges across the entire research lifecycle, including research design, data practices, authorship, publication, peer review, Artificial Intelligence use, power asymmetries, and long-term responsibility to the global knowledge ecosystem.
The course draws upon COPE Core Practices, international publishing norms, and emerging debates on Artificial Intelligence and open science, with specific sensitivity to management and social science research contexts.
